The De’Longhi EC710 Stainless Steel Espresso/Cappuccino Maker is an exclusive stainless steel body pumped espresso machine with high performance 15 bar pump pressure that ensures the best tasting espresso or cappuccino with no limit to the number of cups that can be produced.
The De’Longhi EC710 Stainless Steel Espresso/Cappuccino Maker’s “Cappuccino System” mixes steam, air and milk, producing a rich, creamy froth for a great cappuccino.
The espresso and cappucino maker includes a 1.3 litre removable water reservoir with a water level indicator as well as a stainless steel espresso boiler.

Delonghi EC710 Espresso/Cappuccino Maker Reviews
4 Reviews of the Delonghi EC710 Espresso/Cappuccino Maker
Quick review
If you want one…buy it now…it’s just dropped £22 since last week!!
The coffee maker is a nice looking piece of kit with a good pack of accessories and some Lille ESE coffee pods included also. I have found the machine very easy to use and easy to keep clean with nice touches such as a thumb clip to stop the filter dropping out when you tap out the coffee grounds after use.
There is a quick guide to making espresso and cappuccino and the initial results were good. With some fine ground Lavazza coffee I got a lovely crema on the espresso and the milk frother does a fine job too. Both the boilers get up to heat very quickly and the warming plate on the top works very well.
My only “complaint” is the milk frother steam arm that is too far over to allow a cup to sit underneath it and catch the drips once the milk has been heated but can’t swing back over the drip tray…so it drips milk down the side of the drip tray and it makes a bit of a mess. You just need to be careful and wipe up afterwards. Keep it on a tray if you’ll be using it on a porous surface.
Other than that…for the price I think it is a great little machine and is producing really lovely cups of coffee!

Quality cappaccino!
I bought this machine after reading reviews for machines in it’s price range. It has a stainless steel boiler & takes both ese pods ( Illy is one choice!!) and ground coffee. I wanted the option to use ground coffee but wanted on the whole to use an easy pod system. This offers both & the pods are quality coffee brands like Illy and not hard to get hold of now. More brands are bringing out ese pods too. They are so easy & clean & tidy to use!
I wasn’t successful at using the machine at first as initially I used ground coffee and forgot to prewarm cups etc. However, after a couple of goes I have it down to a fine art & it’s easy & very very fast.
I also use filtered water. Figured makes a better cup of coffee & saves descaling as much.
The machine pre warms first- turn on, put water through the system twice when the light is on by pressing a button. This is all done in probably less than minute, takes less or same time than other machines like Tassimo. I use this preheat to warm the cups, vital!!! I let the water go through to the cup, therefore preheating it. If doing more than one I let a bit of hot water go into each cup & put them up on the cup warmer. Just before the cup has it’s turn for the pod I tip out the hot water.
Then I pop in a ese pod into the holder, press button, light goes out after about 20 seconds which is how long you need for the pod/espresso so I just go by the light. It goes out & I turn off. DONE!
If going cappaccino- I turn on the steamer button, give it a few seconds & then turn on the arm a bit & release the hot water that it initially seems to chuck out into a spare cup & then pop the jug under for foaming. I’ll admit it’s good most of the time but now & again I’m not as successful as I usually am. The froth is good & looks good too but not as impressive as I’ve had at some good restaurants. It’s good enough though & I’m fussy. Leaves a good clinging foam around the cup when you’ve finished.
As I make them, if more than one, I pop them back up on the cup warmer- how handy!

Luvin my De’Longhi EC710
Completely satisfied …. from purchase to delicious coffee.
Painless order and delivery procedure through Amazon. Package arrived even quicker than promised.
Coffee machine needs to be turned on at least 10-15 minutes before you plan to use it so it warms up.
Not noisy, as I’d read in other reviews, performs quickly and effectively.
Just don’t do as I did and accicently throw out the coffee filter with the coffee grinds…. didn’t realize until the trash had already been collected to now have to order a replacement only a week after starting to use it durrr

Amazing machine. Great coffee. Fast, easy to clean, good price!
This is my first experience with a more professional espresso machine. I’ve had cheap (3 bar pressure etc) machines in the past which have resulted in poor coffee and messy work surfaces.
My first impressions upon opening the box were great. The machines looks like a quality machine. The brushed metal effect, the chrome effect drip tray, the cup warmer on top, even the buttons all look of high quality.
Instructions recommend cleaning through the inner workings of the machine by running through a few cycles with no coffee in after washing loose parts in warm soapy water. This took all of 10 minutes to achieve, then it was time for the first espresso.
The machine comes with a box of Illy Espresso pods, which are really easy and clean to use.
Warming the system through is very very simple and takes about a minute to do, and can be used to pre warm your cup if it hasn’t been on the warming plate for long enough:-
Turn the power on.
Wait for green OK light to come on.
Press the coffee button (with no coffee in the chamber).
Let hot water flow for 5 - 10 seconds
Press the coffee button to turn off the flow.
Now the system is warmed up and ready to deliver the perfect espresso. Take the handle off, put in your ground coffee/pod, attach handle - !! make sure its pushed as far to the right as it will go, this may be off centre, but if it’s not as far to the right as possible, water may leak and run down the handle!! - Place cup underneath the spout and press the coffee button, this will start the espresso flow. The pump isn’t exactly quiet, but not a lot louder than say boiling a kettle. Once the desired amount of espresso is delivererd, press the coffee button again to stop the flow.
And there you have it. A lovely, piping hot espresso with a nice thick crema.
On my first try I managed to achieve a delicious, thick golden crema, using the coffee pods that came with the machine.
Another bonus is the fact that you can deliver hot water through the steam arm by pressing the coffee delivery button when the steam handle is pulled down. It does say in the instructions that it is recommended not to deliver hot water through the steam arm for more than 20 seconds at a time. I use massive mugs, and for a nice americano, it takes about 30 seconds of hot water from the steam arm to get it to the right level, and I have had no problems so far. Only excellent coffee.
I would definatly recommend this machine to anyone considering it.
Go for it, you won’t regret it
