This one was worth the three week wait…..
After mulling over the choices I concluded first that (overall) DeLonghi clearly make the best Coffee/Espresso/Cappuchino makers - including some mouthwatering machines around the £500-1000 mark!! At first I waited, hoping that Amazon would reduce the price from £64.99 but decided to go ahead because this was the machine I really wanted.
Anyway, I received this slightly more affordable machine a couple of weeks ago and I cannot fault it…. Of course, like ALL machines they need treating with respect or they will break or something will go wrong. But this DeLonghi doesn’t give me that concern. The frother could be a little more effective and the drip tray less fiddly but the coffee quality is the best.
This DeLonghi coffee maker has superceeded my expectations….and I would 100% recommend it to anyone reading this and considering getting one.

Very pleased with this machine
I bought this coffee maker just before Christmas. I had wanted one which was reasonably easy to use, not too hard on the pocket and one which did not use “pods” of coffee - I prefer to grind my own beans. I find it simple and quick to operate and the coffee is very satisfactory. A good buy.

Good Quality piece of kit!
I am very pleased with this product since receiving it 4 months ago.
I was initially after an espresso machine with frother, but went with this dual option due mainly to good reviews and a reasonable price. I use the filter part of this daily, and find that it makes very a good, smooth coffee with Lavazza.
The espresso side for lattes doesn’t disappoint either - I am enjoying a fine double shot latte as I type this! When done correctly, I find these to be on a par with a coffee shop latte.
Easy to clean and maintain, seems pretty durable. It is a little noisy when making espresso, but certainly not enough so to prevent a purchase.

DeLonghi BCO255 Pumped Combi Coffee Maker
I purchased this combi coffee maker for my husband’s birthday in december. As soon as it arrived the espresso water tank had a leak. I went on amazon website to check their return policy. I was amased how simple and effortless this process was. pressed a few buttons and DHL were there the following day to pick it up. I didn’t have to do anything. 10 out of 10 to amazon for customer service. We did like this coffee maker, so we decided to get another one a month later, thinking that they can’t be all faulty. It arrived sooner than we expected and it seemed to be all right untill a week or two later I noteced some water at the pack of it. The new machine had the same problem. We had the same fantastic experience returning the item (probably because we were still covered by the extended return policy during X-mas period). So, this coffe maker is a fantastic idea, but unfortunately it doesn’t work. For that reason can’t recommend it at all.

Am about to purchase a second unit as our first has died and it is simpler to replace than get repaired. Brilliant coffee machine, but has one flaw the “removable” water tank starts to leak at the seal if you remove it often due to a build up of scale. Fortunately there is no need to remove it as it can be filled from the top like the filter coffeee tank. I’m not even sure why they made it removable as there is no advantage to removing it. The quality of the machine far outweighs this minor irritation. We like filter coffee with frothy milk which for some reason most coffee machine manufacturers seem to think is not an option. With this machine you get good quality coffee and lots of steam. Highly recommended.
